长期从事激光雷达遥感研究,主要包括激光雷达数据处理与应用、多平台激光雷达融合、新型测绘技术在重大工程中的应用等。主持国家自然科学基金、国家博士后基金、江苏省博士后基金等项目,参与国家自然科学基金2项,国家重大工程应用课题多项,入选河海大学大禹学者第四层次,主讲本科生课程《激光雷达原理与方法》、《工程测量学》、《测量学基础》等课程,主讲研究生课程《精密工程测量技术及应用》。发表学术论文40余篇,授权国家发明专利7项。主要研究方向如下:

1) 多平台激光雷达融合与应用;

2) 三维点云智能提取与建模;

3) 新型测绘技术在重大工程中的应用。
