    Vagner Ferreira教授现任河海大学教授,主要从事水文学、大地测量学及环境科学领域的研究。利用创新技术,分析大地测量观测结果以推进对水文过程及环境变化监测的科学认知。研究重点是开发算法以增强对大陆水库的区域反演,从卫星传感器数据集中提取新的水文见解。

 在处理大地测量数据和通过反演估算水储量方面,具有丰富的出版记录,为大地测量在环境应用方面做出了贡献。其高引论文采用GRACE卫星数据表征全球主要河流流域的水文变异性。作为该领域的权威,出版了大量利用大地测量技术研究干旱、洪水和陆地水储变化的文章。作为50多种科学期刊的专业评审人,多次获得优秀期刊编辑的称号,并确立了自己作为水文大地测量和环境水文遥感的影响力。

 2011年获得巴西巴拉那联邦大学博士学位以来,一直从事与数学和物理大地测量、卫星测高、卫星重力以及其他大地测量学科和相关地球科学有关的研究,积累了丰富的研究成果和相关的教学经验。在攻读博士期间,作为巴西-德国学术交流项目成员,德国卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院访问了一年。期间与匈牙利院士Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Bernhard Heck博士进行合作,作为主要参与者共同研究局部重力场建模。主持两项国家自然科学基金项目、三项中央高校基金和一项国家重点研发计划资助项目子课题。他发表了90多篇SCI/EI论文,其中20篇作为第一作者或通讯作者。美国地球物理联合会(AGU)、欧洲地球科学联合会(EGU)、国际大地测量学会(IAG)和亚洲大洋洲地球科学学会(AOGS)的会员。并于2015年和2018年两次作为访问学者赴德国卡尔斯鲁厄理工学院进行学术访问。
