On the morning of December 1, 2020, at the invitation of Yang Yingbao, vice dean of school of Earth Science and Engineering, Professor Zhan Wenfeng of School of Geography and Ocean Science of Nanjing University delivered an academic report entitled Global Urban Warming. The report was presided over by President Yang, and more than 100 teachers and students attended this academic report.

The report introduces the current situation and harm of global urban warming and its impact on urban health. Based on remote sensing technology, it reveals the global temperature trend of different cities in the long time series, reveals the causes of global warming, and discusses the effective ways to alleviate urban warming in the context of climate change. At the last, in the interactive link, Professor Zhan patiently answered the questions of teachers and students, and also put forward effective suggestions for students' future researches.
