主要的研究方向为非常规油气储层地震正反演方法研究。目前,共发表SCI论文30余篇(第一作者12篇),EI论文10余篇(第一作者6篇)。第一发明人授权国家发明专利5项。主持国自然基金面上项目、国自然基金青年项目、中国博士后特别资助、中国博士后面上项目、中央高校基础科研项目等,参与国家“973”、国家科技重大专项、国自然基金面上项目等。担任期刊《Petroleum Science》和《石油物探》青年编委,同时为《Surveys in Geophysics》、《Geophysics》、《IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing》、《Petroleum Science》、《IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters》、《Journal of Applied Geophysics》、《Journal of Geophysics and Engineering》等多个期刊审稿人。
