Collaboration with University of Stuttgart, Germany

Two visitors (Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nico Sneeuw and Dr.-Ing. Mohammad J. Tourian) from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, came to our school from April 9-11, 2017, to seek collaboration in research and joint training of graduate students.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Nico Sneeuw is the Head of the Institute of Geodesy, University of Stuttgart, Germany, and Principal Scientist at DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst, German Academic Exchange Service) for the project “Global Change Monitoring Using Modern Spaceborne Gravimetry and Geodesy”. He gave a seminar titled “Future satellite gravimetry missions: recent developments as well as algorithmic aspects”.

During the visit, Dr.-Ing. Mohammad J. Tourian gave a seminar “Hydro Geodesy：The Application of Spaceborne Geodetic Sensors in Hydrology”.
